Visit Orrefors Glassworks
You are welcome to visit Orrefors Glassworks where you can watch how Orrefors products are made at close hand. In Orrefors Museum and Exhibition Hall you can find out more about the history of Orrefors and our 100-year development of glass. In our factory outlet you can buy glass seconds at attractive prices.
Orrefors Glassworks is situated in a picturesque cultural environment with roots in the 18th century. On the site of the glassworks you’ll find Gästvillan, which has served as a manager’s residence and a villa for receptions and entertaining guests; Äppelträdgården, a type of village green or meadow; the Hammarsmedjan hammer mill and the beautiful Orrefors Exhibition Hall designed by Bengt Gate. The site is also home to a restaurant and various forms of accommodation are available nearby. Click here to show map.
Guided tours
A guided tour includes a presentation of Orrefors Glassworks and glass-making with a visit to the hot shop. The tour can also be combined with a visit to the museum and the exhibition hall. A guided tour costs SEK 50 per person and must be booked in advance. Please contact us for information on prices for groups.
Try glass-blowing
During the summer you can blow a large beautiful bowl yourself with the help of skilled glassblowers, who also give you a good glimpse of the exciting properties of glass as a material. Minimum age: 7. Blow your own bowl at Orrefors Glassworks for SEK 245 (SEK 195 if you have the Kingdom of Crystal Pass).
