In the mid-1920s, Orrefors started creating lighting made of crystal, which became a significant part of production at the glassworks until the 1980s. In 2006 Orrefors decided to resume its lighting production, this time round in cooperation with the lighting company Zero. This has resulted in an elegantly understated and innovative range, in which designers at Orrefors unite light with the properties of clear crystal.
